About Liezl
My relationship with Yoga Nidra began in 2010 on my first teacher training in India, where daily hour-long practices helped me rest into the presence of my deeper truth & existence underneath the stories, roles and experiences I carried. That month of rest gave me the clarity and stability to face difficult decisions with integrity. It ignited a passion for this transformative practice that I keep returning to in times of need.
Today, with over 1,200 hours of yoga certifications and a background in psychology, linguistics, and coaching; I teach Yoga Nidra as a responsive, embodied healing practice rather than script-dependent relaxation. I integrate traditional & spiritual frameworks of this Tantric practice with nervous system science, psychology insights and somatic awareness. This allows practitioners to meet stuck places with compassion, complete emotional responses and move forward in alignment.
My approach honors that healing is spiralic. We return to what needs attention, each time making progress, until the roots loosen and release becomes possible.
